I remember Mike in school as a quirky guy with a sense of humor that he used to his advantage. We have bee ncorresponding through Facebook and I was suddenly aware of his absence. I knew he had several surgeries and many rounds of chemo but he always seemed to keep his good attitude & spirits up. And then nothing....Went to his Facebook site and saw that he passed away..I think Jack Nissen posted it as well. Sad ending for Mike after his reurn to his beloved Austria. God's Blessings to you Mike!

Mike and I were neighbors as children and lifetime friends. The absences of his unique presences and music will leave a void in the world.

I am so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. He was a most interesting, talented and fun person. My condolences to his family and loved ones and prayers for comfort and joyful memories. I knew Michael best in elementary school and always thought a great deal of him.
