Beverly Stevens (Edwards)
I'd known Winson since Jr. High and he was such a sweet guy with a good heart. I remember the summers when we hung out at the American River on Paradise Beach and Paradise Island. Those were such happy memories. And the many lazy summer afternoons when we'd hang out at Trudi Scott's in River Park and drink Coke's and laugh at our own crazy jokes! Those were such carefree days and Winson remained my good friend until we graduated from high school and we parted ways. He died so young and I know his adult life was probably not an easy one. I miss you Winson, and I'm sure you are missed by others as well..... (Bev (Stevens) Edwards
Rebecca "Becci" Viratos (Hanna)
I lived around the corner from Winston and had such a crush on him (didn't most of the girls!) My favorite memory of him was when he met me outside his house while I walking home from school holding on to his arm saying he had been injured! He had a huge gash with blood and a bone sticking out of the wound. I was mortified! After I screamed and offered to help, he laughed and told me it was FAKE! That's when I found out he wanted to be a make-up artist for the movies! From what I remember, he went to LA to try to realize his dream. RIP Winston!
Martha Kercheval (Parnell)
Winson always brightened the day. My sympathy to the family.
Sincerely, Martha Jeanne Kercheval Parnell

Winson was a real friend during high school. He taught me how to snow ski and we had many great trips to Squaw and Alpine. Then Winson got me involved in his real passion: theater. We did a lot of shows together at the Eaglet. I've been watching TV and movie credits ever since expecting to see his name. It was a big/sad shock to find out that he's been gone for almost a quarter century.
I hope that the little time that Winson got was great for him.
