We regret to inform you of the passing on Saturday  of Renate (Mohring) Traum of our Sac High Class of 63, per our classmate Tamara (Whitcomb) Garcia.  Per Tamara:  "Renate Mohring Traum passed away March 20, 2021.  She is survived by her husband Heinz and their three sons.  She was born in East Germany in 1945.  She eventually migrated to the USA with her parents and two brothers.  She began school in Sacramento at Bret Harte Elementary in 5th grade.  (My first long time friend.)  She graduated college and became an English teacher for high school students.  Irony here -- she didn't speak English when I met her, and she sparked my interest in learning German.  She asked that no services be held."
