Beverly Stevens (Edwards)
I'm so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. We were friends in high school and I have great memories of him. He once came to a party at my house and after my mother met him she said "I want you to marry him!" (a rather jaw-dropping remark coming from my mother :-)) Of course Ronnie and I weren't dating and were just good friends at the time. He was always upbeat, fun, smart, liked by everyone, and a gentleman even at a young age. My sincerest regards to his wife and family. Ron will be greatly missed.
Bonnie Vaughn (Merriman)
I was so very sad when I read of Ron's death. I thought to myself "You haven't seen him for years and you are crushed." It's because Ron was such a genuinely decent guy. My day was always better when I ran into him. My school years were better because of him. Guys wanted to be like him...girls wanted to marry someone like him. He was that guy. My prayers for his wife and other loved ones. The world lost a terrific person.
Ellen Pollock (Weston)
I agree. Bonnie...when I saw the notice I said "oh no" without even thinking. I hadn't seen Ron in many years. I still remember those yearbook photos on the stairs and having a lot of fun with the cheer guys when we were songleaders. Seeing our classmates go before us is very sobering. Best to all. Ellen
Diane Ceresa (Pennisi)
just like the others, my first reaction was "oh no", he was such a sweet and stand up guy. I had fond memories of him and extend my deepest sympathy to his family. God bless his soul.
Terrie (Theresa) Hjersman (Anderson)
I haven't seen Ron since we graduated and his passing brought on a flood of memories from our David Lubin days and not a few tears. He was my 4th and 5th grades heart throb and the presenter of my very first real Valentine. He loved telling what were, for our age group, titillating jokes about Elvis and talking about baseball. Such a dear, sweet boy. Goodbye, my friend. Rest in peace.
Martha Kercheval (Parnell)
I was saddened to hear of Ron's passing. My condolences to his family and loved ones. May you be comforted and blessed by the time you had together. I fondly remember being in classes together in high school. Years of memory building for others have happened since then. Lifting you in prayer.

Howard "Howdy" Hoover
I last saw Ron about six months ago. He and his wife were managing an upscale storage facility on Hallmark Dr. just off Howe Ave. Ron was in a wheelchair and had his lower legs amputated. He was still in good spirits and we chatted about past days at Sac High and playing on the golf team.

I'm so sad to hear of Ron's passing. He was a special guy who respected girls and was a true gentlemn. I have many fond memories of our "buddy" days at Sacramento High. May God bless his family and those who mourn.
Helen George (Paraskevas) (Jan63)
I was so sorry to hear of Ron Ellison's passing. Haven't seen him since we graduated, but will always remember what a great person he was.Truly a kind person and fun to be around. My deepest sympathy to his family.
Jerry (Albert Jerome) Ingalls
It is so heart warming to see the wonderful thoughtful comments about beloved Ronnie. He was such a great guy....all the way back to elementary days at David Lubin. Though I didn't see him for many years thanks to the bad boys Tony, Steve, Al, Jeff, Eric, Lee, Tom, Andy I saw Ronnie twice in this past year. In spite of his most serious health issues he was the same fun guy I always remembered. Ronnie Quality All the Way. Also, Bob Goulding contacted David Caselli. David was so saddened he called Bob all the way from Italy. Jerry Ingalls
