In Memory

Marlene Woolstencroft (Mills)

We regret to inform you of the passing on January 25, 2021 of our classmate Marlene Woolstenscroft Mills, per her dear friend Dianna (Santa) Nicholson.  Marlene was the twin sister of our classmate Mark Woolstencroft.  Mark and Marlene both helped us greatly in the Yearbook Class at Sac High and contributed so much to that class and our yearbook.  She will be missed, and we send our condolences to all of her family and friends.

I am sorry to hear of Marlene's passing. I remember her at Sac Hi and she was upbeat and had a great sense of humor. We shared some classes together and she always knew how to put a smile on my face. My condolences to her family and friends. She will be missed.

I am very saddened by the passing of Marlene. She and I and Mark were good friends. We used to walk home from school on occasions and would just laugh and talk all the way home. She was the sweetest person both she and Mark were good people. The last time I saw Marlene was at one of the Hofbrau gathering. I'm so glad I went. Rest in heavenly peace my dear friend.
My condolences to her family.

I loved Marlene's voice and laugh. Both were delightful. Glad I saw her at one of our mini-reunions at Sam's! Sorry for her passing!

I was saddened when I heard of Marlene's passing.  We would always sit together when we had classes as our last names were at the end of the alphabet. She was someone who could make you laugh and always have a good time with. She will be missed.  RIP Marlene.

I am so sorry to hear about Marlene. She was my best friend from Kindergarden thru 6th grade. Mark was my first boyfriend.  She was so dear to me but I never followed up to remind her of our friendship and exchange memories. Now it is too late.  Although many of our classmates have passed away, Marlene's passing is the most shocking to me.  It feels so close. Like it could have been me.  I am so sorry sorry she is gone, even though I haven't kept in touch. I hope Mark is hanging in there! Life is good and it makes me appreciate it even more to learn the sad news about Marlene. I can hardly believe she is gone. She will be missed.

I extend my sympathy to all of Marlene's family and loved ones. You are in my prayers.  Even tough I have lived halfway across the United States since graduation, I do remember Marlene by her eyes, her smile and her kindness.  May  you be comforted.  So many are glad to have known her or at least to have encountered her.

Sincerely, Martha Jeanne/Marti Kercheval Parnell

My heart goes out to Mark and Marlene's family. Her kind, good natured humor, infectous laugh and smile were a gift to all who knew her. Rest in peace, Marlene.
